Powerful Performance With A Powerful Driver Configuration
FiiO’s latest FH7S packs a powerful performance with its precisely designed driver configuration. The pair houses a five-driver hybrid configuration featuring a 13.6mm custom-developed DLC Diaphragm dynamic driver unit. This dd unit is paired with four customised balanced armature drivers from Knowles.
Same Dynamic Driver As In The Flagship FH9
FiiO has equipped the FH7s with the same 2nd-gen 13.6mm DLC driver that they implemented in the Flaghip FH9. It produces a powerful lower end with an extended bass response. Its diaphragm is made of DLC(Diamond-Like Carbon) material, it’s highly-damped and has a rigid, lightweight structure promising clean and precise bass response.
All-New Sci-Fi Design
Unlike the previously released IEMs from the “FH” series that had an angular design, the latest FH7s gets latest-generation Sci-Fi like edgy design with its earpieces. The shells have been meticulously designed for a comfortable fit and ergonomic form factor. It’s appearance matches with that of the recently launched M17 and M11 plus.
2nd-Gen Semi Acoustic Design Architecture
FH7s features FiiO’s 2nd generation semi-open design to present a wide, spacious soundstage for your music. The semi-open design also incorporates FiiO’s air-pressure relief between the from and rear cavity structure.
High-Purity Stock Cable With Swappable Termination
FiiO bundles the FH7s with a high-purity silver-plated monocrysalline copper cable with expanded MMCX connectors and swappable termination plug. It’s a thick 152 core cable with 8 strands of high-purity wires. It uses twist-lock type termination plugs and will include 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced plugs in the package.

【Driver configuration】
The FH7S channels the essence of the FH9 to tailor-make for a 4 BA 1 dynamic driver design. For the bass, it features a 2nd-gen 13.6mm DLC diaphragm dynamic bass driver fully capable of extending to the lowest frequencies with ample punch. For the mids, it is handled by DFK driver customized by FiiO and Knowles, for exquisite vocals. For the treble, it is provided by SWFK-31736 BA, with an airy and highly resolving sound.
【Included cable】
The FH7S comes standard with cable consisting of 8 strands of 19 wires each – for a total of 152 wires of silver-plated monocrystalline copper all individually isolated from each other. The Litz braiding of the wires means that the larger surface area leads to less resistance in the wires by minimizing the skin effect and proximity effect – leading to improved signal transmission efficiency and better resolution. Compared to the FH7, the FH7S is upgraded with twist-lock swappable audio plugs that include both 3.5/4.4mm plug.

The bass of the FH7S inherits the tuning style of the FH9. The low frequency dives deeply, and the transient response is fast, which makes the interpretation of low frequency more surging, and makes the sound performance natural and solid; Mid frequencies are handled by the custom Knowles BA, which adjusts the air permeability of the midrange drivers, thus leading to clearer vocals and a more engaging tonality.
The high frequencies are produced by the Knowles SWFK-31736 BA driver with its high resonant frequency. The driver contains richer highs details and airiness while also helping to further enhance the size of the soundstage, which is relaxed and comfortable to listen to. In terms of the acoustic structure, the development team created a unique notch filter for the FH7S by using finite element analysis and after numerous experiments. The notch filter precisely guides sound waves to eliminate unwanted resonances between the shell, sound tube, and ear canal to suppress undesirable sibilance - resulting in a detailed, transparent yet unfatiguing sound.
Included with the FH7S are 3 tuning filters, each of which has its own damping characteristics and filter density for 3 distinct sounds, so that you can choose the one you like.
